PHCONLAB Expression Activity Games
Voice Rhythm Game [Stress]
About the Voice Rhythm Game [Stress]
Measure your average speaking volume for 10 seconds, then read sentence patterns with strong, medium, and soft voice stress based on that baseline.
Training Benefits
Practice controlling vocal stress, emphasis, and rhythmic reading. Learners compare strong, medium, and soft voice levels without simply shouting or dropping the voice completely.
View Detailed Instructions
- The game includes default sentences. If needed, enter 3 sentences before starting, one sentence per line.
- Select Start to grant microphone permission, then select Measure Baseline to measure your average speaking volume.
- During the 10-second baseline step, read the sentences in a comfortable speaking voice. This becomes your reference voice level.
- After selecting Start Game, letter obstacles appear in large, medium, and small sizes for strong, medium, and soft stress.
- Read louder than your baseline for strong parts, near your baseline for medium parts, and softer than your baseline for soft parts.
- When each letter crosses the scoring line, your voice level near that moment is compared with the target stress. No voice input may reduce the score.
- After class, review whether the stress difference was clearly heard and whether the strong voice stayed relaxed rather than tight.
