About the Script Reading Game
Choose or enter a script, then compare the speech recognition result with the original while practicing breath support, resonance, and clear articulation through script reading.
Training Benefits
Practice carrying breath to the end of each phrase, maintaining resonance, and articulating clearly through the final syllable. This can also be extended by placing the microphone or device farther away and practicing clear projection.

- Choose one of the following: ‘The Hare and the Tortoise (Excerpt)’, ‘The Hare and the Tortoise (Full)’, ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper (Excerpt)’, ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper (Full)’, or ‘Custom Script’.
- The included scripts are PHCONLAB classroom-reading adaptations based on Aesop's fables for the Storybooks You See with Your Ears content. Review the selected script, or choose Custom Script if you want to edit or enter a new script for your lesson.
- Select Start Speech Recognition to grant microphone permission.
- Select Start Speech Recognition and read the script calmly from the beginning.
- Do not rush or swallow the final words. Read as if your breath, resonance, and articulation carry the sound forward to the last syllable.
- When you finish reading, select Stop Recognition to check the recognized text, then select Calculate Score to compare it with the original script.
- In class, use the score together with feedback on where final words became unclear, where breath did not carry through, and where resonance or articulation weakened.
- As an extension, place the microphone or device slightly farther away and practice sending the voice clearly as if speaking to someone at a distance.
