- Step 1. Launch GoldWave and Set Recording Mode:
- Launch GoldWave and click the ‘New Recording‘ icon (red circle).
- Select ‘Unbounded‘ mode in the ‘Record’ tab to allow for flexible recording length.

- Step 2. Check Microphone Device and Quality Settings:
- Check the microphone device to be used in the ‘Device’ tab, and ensure ‘Quality’ is set to ‘Shared’ to create a stable recording environment without conflicts between your computer and GoldWave.
- Step 3. Check Microphone Volume and Start Recording:
- Check the microphone volume using the ‘Test’ button to set the appropriate recording level.
- Once all preparations are complete, click the record button to begin audio recording.

- Step 4. Create Cue Points During Recording:
- Create Cue Points for any mistakes or sections that need future editing during recording.
- Using the shortcut ‘Q’ will make it more convenient.

1. Place the cursor before the part to be corrected and re-record with the {●} icon.
2. Move to the 1st Cue → Delete or edit the mistaken part.
3. Move to the 2nd Cue → Edit for a natural connection.

This is the noise removal and volume organization process to maximize the listening experience of your audio content.
1. Select noise section → Copy → Select all → Noise Reduction → ‘Use clipboard’
2. Noise Gate → ‘No ignoring of brief sounds’ Preset
3. Adjust to maximum volume with Maximize Volume.
4. Apply Compressor → ‘Reduce peaks’ Preset
5. Apply Maximize Volume again.

🎶 Background Music Insertion and Organization: Adding Emotion to Audio!
This is the background music insertion and organization process to add emotion and atmosphere to your audio content.
1. Load music file → Copy → In voice file, Mix.
2. If inserted later than voice, remove silent section at beginning of music and Mix again.
3. After Mix completion, delete unnecessary parts.
4. Make a silent section for 1-1.5 seconds at the end of the file + Apply ‘Fade Out’
5. Check silent section at the beginning of the file, too.

This is the final file creation process for uploading audio content to various platforms.
- Step 1. Set Maximum Volume: Set Maximize Volume to -1dB to prevent clipping during playback.

- Step 2. Check and Adjust Average Volume: Check the average volume (LUFS) with the Loudness icon, and adjust it to -14 LUFS ~ -15 LUFS.

- Step 3. Save Lossless WAV File: Save a lossless .wav file via ‘File’ → ‘Save As…’ to retain the original high-quality file.
- Step 4. Convert to Upload MP3/M4A: Convert again via ‘File’ → ‘Save As…’ to select .mp3 or .m4a format.
- Step 5. Set Sound Quality: Set the sound quality in ‘Attributes’ to ‘44100Hz, 192kbps’ or ‘48000Hz, 192kbps’.
This completes a practical workflow from recording to post-editing and saving for upload.
