PHCONLAB Expression Activity Games

Express with Senses

About the Express with Senses

This activity opens hearing, smell, touch, sight, and taste step by step. Learners listen to sound clues, observe images and colors, and expand the sensations they imagine into spoken expression.

Training Benefits

Learners practice turning sensory clues into language rather than only finding the right answer. Sounds, images, colors, and taste impressions are connected to emotions, memories, and expressive vocabulary.

View Detailed Instructions

  1. Start with Auditory Warm-Up. Listen to mixed audio clues and say what sounds you hear.
  2. On the answer screen, check the actual sound list and discuss which clues helped you notice each sound.
  3. During Smell Warm-Up and Touch Warm-Up, look at images or objects and imagine their smell, texture, and feeling. Groups of 3 to 5 learners can take turns expressing while another group guesses.
  4. During Visual Warm-Up and Taste Warm-Up, choose one prompt and express it through another sense.
  5. In the extension questions, revisit a familiar object such as a paper cup through different senses.
  6. At the end, connect sensory expressions to emotions or memories and share what came to mind.
